Can somebody explain to me what the differences are between the Developer Portal and the Thingspark. What should be changed in order to get your system up and running in the Thingspark. I can't find a post on this forum with the exact differences.

The biggest difference I found was the activation (only ABP support). But after the update also OTAA is supported.

Remaining differences:
- Only Device Class A is supported on the Dev. Portal.
- Only Fport 1 can be used on the Dev. Portal. (Thingspark?)
- Limited Time and number of devices.
- Fair use policy (in the thingspark you can buy a package for your needs?)
- Encryption? Is there still a difference after the update last night?
- Confirmed downlink only for Thingspark?

Are there more differences I missed?

@Jeroen10 Sorry for the delay. I've asked a specialist to share technical details. I'm still waiting for his response.
@Robg66 For now, we don't publish prices. If you're interested in a commercial package, please contact our account team or we can contact you.

- Only Device Class A is supported on the Dev. Portal.Thingpark also supports Class C.

- Only Fport 1 can be used on the Dev. Portal. (Thingspark?)Thingpark also allows other ports.

- Limited Time and number of devices.Thingpark allows all numbers of devices and messages (while respecting the duty cycle of course)

- Fair use policy (in the thingspark you can buy a package for your needs?)Thingpark has commercial bundles based on the number of messages per day/month/year

- Encryption? Is there still a difference after the update last night?Messages are sent decrypted to your server. If –in thingpark- you choose not to fill in your appskey the message will be sent encrypted to your server.

- Confirmed downlink only for Thingspark?Yes

Are there more differences I missed?
More options with Tingspark:

- More elaborate debugger tool (‘wireless logger’ application)
- Ability to select device profiles with network settings that best suit the context of a device
- Geolocation services (available for testing right now)
- User management
- Multiple endpoints per device
- Insight in device alarms

Thanks @Tim for this overview of the differences.
Hi everyone,

I have created a trial account with ThingPark, but I am quite confused about the differences between both platforms (KPN dev portal and Thingspark). The DevAddr, Nwsk and Appsk provided by KPN portal can be inputed in the ThigsPark platform? Or are they different?

If they should be different, who should provide me these keys?
