easily create a LTE-M Proof-Of-Concept with a Raspberry PI

Sharing is caring! I’ve put a tool-kit together which enables you easily to create a LTE-M Internet Of Things Proof-Of-Concept with a Raspberry PI and a SIMCom SIM7070E which is based on the (currently latest) multi-band multi-mode modem Qualcomm9205.

You can use the preconfigured SD-Card image to test LTE-M connectivity or simply use this SD-image to easily add LTE-M connectivity to your own proof of concepts.

More experienced users can use the provided patch-file to create their own kernel.

Dank voor het delen van de image en de heldere video.

Dit zal anderen vast helpen om snel een werkend RaspberryPi systeem met een LTE-M verbinding op te bouwen!

 

Ik heb zelf een LTE-M head voor de Raspberry Pi gekocht bij RAK wireless. Er zijn er diverse van te vinden op het Internet. Deze is direct aan te sluiten op de GPIO bus van de Pi. Werkt ook fijn al heb ik wel een sterkere voeding nodig.
