I am just starting with development with LoRa and I have sent a join request from my device to LoRaWAN.
The dev portal state that "the last message could not be forwarded to destination endpoint URL", but this is (for now) a public endpoint.
Also, my AppKey is made up and my AppEUI is 0059AC0000010120
Is this sufficient for a working connection?
Could you please check what the status is of the device?
Hi @Hans van den Elsen ,
Welcome to the IoT Community!
Great to hear that you've started with LoRa. I found your Developer Portal account and I see your device with the status 'Error'.
The Join Request wasn't succesfull, but I can't see what the exact issue is.
I suggest that I remove the device from your account and that you start a new Join Request. As soon as you have done this I would like to hear from you, so that I can check whether this Join Request has gone well. Is this ok?

I just deleted the device form the Developer Portal. You can create a new Join Request.
Keep me posted!

Yes. Just did. Sorry for the delay. It seems it worked somewhere down the line, but now it's not joined again.
Hi Hans,
Thanks for your message!
I've checked your account and i see one devices as 'Activated'.
This device succesfully joined the network on 21-02 and as far as i can see the device should work.
Did you test the device?

I tried to connect again but no success. It just doesn't seem to connect again. Same device, same app_eui, same dev_eui, but different app_key. Could that be the problem?
Hi Hans,
Maybe this is a weird question, but how do you see/know that the device didn't connect succesfully to the network?
Like i wrote in my last message, device LoPy4-1 (DevEUI ending with C6B has succesfully joined the network on 21-02.. So the device is connected now 😉

I am using the SDK from the producer (PyCom) and joining the network outputs that I am not joined at the network. Are you saying that once my device has been joined once, the device should be able to just send data?
